Glaze recipes

Those recipes are mostly variations of different glazes find in books, they are composit of materials available in Czech and probably easy to substituted by your local materials.

Our most common substitution is for Ball Clay = Licí hlína Witger100 and for Ferro Frit 2134 = Glazura P017.

Celadon I.

Celadons are group of semitransparent and transparent glazes, which gets it's colour from iron oxide.

Glaze 154

On the pictures below is this glaze used on clay with great amount of red iron oxide (exept one - which is more white) - that is why the glaze has green colour. On light clay it will be more white to grey, but will keep its appearence.

Glaze 188 - modification of glaze 127 (more to matt and Lithium carbonate is substituted by Spodumene)

Taffy

Yellow salt
